  • Well the main purpose of paper straws is not to reduce CO2, but to prevent animals from dying due to eating plastic waste.

  • Problem with plastic bags is not the carbon emissions to produce them, but the amount of single use plastic produced , lack of recycling and pollution by micro plastics. I know this is a “comedy skit” and you’re re only talking about carbon emissions, but by talking that way you’re misleading people to believe plastic bags are not a real problem.

  • Have you heard of Realfiction Holding? A Danish company that develops a true holographic display technology. (no glasses will be needed) With proof of concept and patents, they aim for the major display-manufacturers to have the technology in their screens for sale at low cost as early as 2023. www.realfiction.com/innovation New technology that will revolutionize the way we watch television? in addition to being able to display holographic images, a major upside is that the technology requires 80% less electricity than ordinary displays resulting in huge savings of approximately USD 7.4bN, 1.34% of the electricity production equivalent of 56 TWh of electricity and 25 million tons of CO2 only in the United States. Their technology is completely unique. "Realfiction previously announced that novelty searches from both Budde Schou and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office were carried out. Neither Budde Schou nor the Danish Patent and Trademark Office found any known techniques which challennged the novelty of the ECHO technology."

  • Actually, Electric Cars do have a carbon footprint. That electricity doesn't appear from thin air. In some cases, an Electric car can have an even BIGGER footprint than a regular depending on how the electricity was generated. Coal electricity is far dirtier than oil or natural gas.

  • 1. Give your sources of all these numbers. Without saying what is and isn't included in these numbers, they are useless 2. Not considering the cost for production, using a light bulb or computer is theoretically free as they warm your house or appartement and you save on ridiculous straight hearing energy. Putting energy straight into heat is just dumb. So did you account for that win? You never mention it. You also do not mention how the electricity is produced: coal, sun or wind? In other words, you could have made the video useful instead of useless...
